There is an old English lore that two Magpie birds together represent joy and mirth. We like to think that is us in a nutshell. You will see that happiness when you see our owners together, having fun curating the perfect gift and crafting fun projects with friends.
Patty boasts 11 years of corporate retail experience in various positions such as Event Coordinator for Recollections Paper Crafting Studios (owned by Michael's Arts and Craft Stores, Inc.), and store manager for corporately owned Hallmark Stores in the Phoenix area before opening her own business as a specialty paint boutique – Green Table Mercantile where her passion for teaching and creating flourished. Patty has been published in nationally distributed print magazines as well as a craft contributor for blogs. While her shop was open, she was featured locally in the Arizona Republic, East Valley Tribune, and numerous repeat television features on Sonoran Living, Your life A to Z, and Phoenix area news channels 3, 5, 10, 12 and 15 over the 6 years of her business. With a new season of life, her family moved to Prescott in 2018 and is ready to set down roots and bring her talents together with the Prescott area community.
Sharon has a passion for volunteering and giving back to the community. This was best demonstrated through her 14 years serving police, fire, first responders and their families as the Executive Director of the non-profit 100 Club of Arizona. Sharon has been a keynote speaker across the country advocating for public safety personnel and their families. She has been recognized by numerous organizations for her advocacy including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, United States Customs and Border Protection, Arizona Department of Public Safety, the Prestigious Athena Award, local, state and national professional fire fighters, Arizona Foothills Living, and served over a month at “Ground Zero” in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack in New York City. Her creative talents for designing and decorating along with commitment to serving in the community led her and her husband David to become 50% owners in the Cortez Street Emporium and The Marketplace for several years, which brought her to Prescott from Scottsdale. After selling her portion of the previous business, Sharon is ready to begin a new venture where she can use her considerable talents in support of the Prescott area.
